Dejan Kulusevski started on the bench, but was substituted in the 28th minute when Tottenham lost to Wolverhampton on Sunday.

In the sixth minute, Wolverhampton made it 1-0 and just over twelve minutes later they extended the lead to 2-0.

The Swede, who has been on loan from Juventus for 18 months, was substituted just over ten minutes after the second goal and picked up a yellow card during the match.

The yellow card came in the 71st minute when Kulusevski was about to take the ball back and pull down a Wolverhampton player.

Tottenham chased a reduction goal in the second half and Kulusevski got a good position, among other things - but shot close outside the goal.

Tottenham are in seventh place in the Premier League.

The London club has three straight losses in the league and next the league leader Manchester City is waiting away.

Fourth straight for Liverpool

For Liverpool, the victory march continues and the team took their fourth straight win in the meeting against Burnley.

In Liverpool, Sadio Mané was back after winning the African Championships with Senegal.

Initially, there were chances in both directions and even though it was Burnley's new acquisition Wout Weghorst who had the best chance, it was Liverpool who took the lead.

The goal came after 40 minutes and it was Fabinho who scored his own return.

Despite Liverpool having several good positions in the second half, the match ended 1-0 to Liverpool.

The result means that Liverpool remains in second place in the Premier League and has nine points up to league leader Manchester City - who have played one more match.

Next, Liverpool face Norwich on 19 February.
