The Netherlands won with an Olympic record of 4:03.40.

Korea, which competed with the Netherlands, China and Canada, moved up and down 3rd and 4th places by the middle of the race.

While the Netherlands held the lead, Korea faced fierce competition with China and Canada.

The national team played the game with three laps left of the finish line.

A-Rang Kim, aiming for the in-course, overtook China to rise to third place, and Min-Jung Choi, the last runner, left the finish line two laps and overtook Canada with her characteristic out-course sprint.

Choi Min-jung clenched her teeth on the last lap and tried to catch up with Dutch ace Shejanus Wheeling, but she couldn't.

With the silver medal of the women's national team, the Korean team won the 5th medal (1 gold medal, 3 silver medals, 1 bronze medal).
