Kylian Mbappe scored a goal in the third minute of stoppage time from a pass by Lionel Messi, to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-0 victory over its guest, Stade Rennes, in the French Football League, on Friday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain (59 points), which hosts Real Madrid in the Champions League, next Tuesday, leads the French league standings, 16 points behind Olympique Marseille, who is in second place, who will play at the struggling Metz grounds on Sunday.

Rennes remained in fifth place in the league standings with 37 points.

Rennes were only 3 minutes away from becoming the second team to take points from Paris Saint-Germain at its Parc des Princes this season, but in the rush to attack the host punished him with a quick counter-attack.

And Lionel Messi passed to Mbappe, who fired a creeping ground shot from inside the penalty area that landed in the goal.

From a crucial pass to Messi as well, a shot from the French striker hit the post before the break, after changing its direction and hitting the net in the middle of the second half, but the referee canceled the goal for offside after referring to the video assistant referee (VAR) technique.

Is the mouse wrong?

The TV replays and the images specified in the transverse line that show offside or not, show that Mbappe, at the moment of passing the ball to him from Messi, is on one line with the last second defender, that is, he is not an offside as stipulated in Article 11 of the Football Law (Offside).

Note that the arms are not included in the offside assessment of the attackers, because the player cannot score with them.

This mistake would have prevented Saint-Germain from winning, had it not been for Mbappe's late goal.

The question that arises is, why does the mouse count such games as intrusion, even though the picture that does not lie or beautify says the opposite?

The answer here is double, as the text of the article that talks about the possibility of infiltration, even if only millimeters, can be exploited, or miscalculation and the arbitration philosophy in which some referees fall.

The truth is that the text of the infiltration, even if it is in the nose, is not fair at all, because there are - so far - no devices that resolve that, which leaves the judgment of the fugitive who may fall into error, as in this clear case!
