Johannes Thingnes Bø won Norway's seventh Olympic gold in the biathlon sprint and a couple of hours later it was another golden boy who struck.

Marius Lindvik flew 140 and 140.5 meters in his two jumps on the big hill.

- Now I'm so full of adrenaline and so happy that I can not talk.

My God, this was fun, he tells Discovery after Saturday's gold.

"Was completely sick"

After the first jump, the Japanese star Ryoyu Kobayashi led by a margin of 2.2 points to Lindvik, who responded by turning the tables and winning by 3.3 points.

- He has beaten me so many times.

I would not pull the handbrake, I would just drive.

It was completely sick, says Lindvik.

The top duo was in a class of their own.

Down to German bronze medalist Karl Geiger, the distance was 14.8 points.

Marius Lindvik's Olympic gold was the first in the big ski jump since Toralf Engan's triumph in Innsbruck in 1964.

With eight gold (and three silver and six bronze), Norway tops the medal league in the Beijing Olympics, about halfway into the Games.
