Al-Ahly of Egypt dances in the light of the Saudi crescent .. and confirms: "I am the third in the world"

Al-Ahly of Egypt won the bronze medal for the third time in the history of its participation in the Club World Cup, after it managed to achieve a great victory over Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia with four goals without a response in the match that brought them together this evening at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi, to determine the third and fourth place holders.

Al-Ahly had previously won the bronze medal for the first time in its history in 2005, at the expense of Mexican Club America, with a 2-1 victory.

The second time came at the expense of the Brazilian Palmeiras in 2020, beating it 4-2 on penalties.

Al-Ahly finished the first half of its match against Al-Hilal, leading with three goals without a response, scored by Yasser Ibrahim, two goals "8 and 17", and both Ahmed Abdel Qader "40", and Amr Al-Sulayya concluded his team's goals "64".

Al-Ahly deserved the great victory that went to him after he took matters seriously, and succeeded from the beginning to advance through, Yasser Ibrahim, who took advantage of an elaborate cross that Ali Maaloul played for him and turned it with his head to the right of the goalkeeper, Muhammad Al-Owais.

Al-Hilal showed a natural reaction after the goal that netted him, and tried to initiate the attacks by Al-Ahly, but his attempts were aborted by his Brazilian player Mateos Pereira, who received the red card directly after a strong intervention against Amr Al-Sulayya.

Al-Ahly did not miss opportunities, taking advantage of the numerical shortage, and the confusion of Al Hilal's defenses, as the goal of Muhammad Al Owais threatened with a shot from defender Muhammad Hani that bounced from the goalkeeper's hands, to be completed by Yasser Ibrahim "Al Muwaffaq" into the net.

Ali Maaloul missed the opportunity to increase the score of goals, if he received a magic pass from Muhammad Sharif, which put him in a direct confrontation with the goalkeeper, but he placed the ball along the left post.

And the French referee, Clement Turpin, returned to display the second red card of Al Hilal player, Mohamed Kno, who fell into the ban, and hit defender Yasser Ibrahim without a ball, and the decision was approved by video technology.

And the way became clear for the Egyptian team to repeatedly reach Al Hilal's goal so that Ahmed Abdel Qader could add the third goal of a distinguished individual effort that he finished inside the net.

With the second half, Al-Ahly continued its advantage over all lines, although Al-Hilal tried to seize the ball, but without risking goalkeeper Ali Lotfi's goal.

With the calm state of the Egyptian team, Ali Maaloul succeeded in adding the fourth goal with a long-range shot that the Saudi goalkeeper's attempts to deal with did not succeed to settle to his right.
