] Shawn White, who was in fourth place, soared for the medal after winning crowds in his final third round.



The first four round jumps were neat.



The second jump was also high, but landing was a problem.

White took off his helmet and smiled sadly, and as the crowd's hot applause poured out, he raised his hand in return.



As the applause baptized, regretting the emperor's departure, did not stop, his eyes were wet with mixed emotions.



White, who overcame congenital heart disease and made a name for himself by winning the Turin Olympics at the age of 20 in 2006, began his heyday as he was called emperor in the white snowy field as his name suggests.



Following a two-game winning streak in Vancouver, he became the first in snowboarding history to score a perfect score of 100, and also won his third gold medal in Pyeongchang four years ago with a miraculous counter-electrode.



This year, when he turned 36, he overcame the bad luck of an ankle injury and Corona 19 confirmation, and had a retirement stage in Beijing, but he said goodbye with deep regret.
