“Last words” .. Musimani outside the walls of Al-Ahly next season

The relationship of the Egyptian Al-Ahly coach, the South African Pitso Mosimane, with the "Red Castle" is nearing its end, after the club refused to respond to the financial demand during the negotiation stages that took place in the past two days.

Mosimane requested a $180,000 monthly salary, an increase in the value of the rewards for obtaining local championships to three months, and six months when winning the African Champions League, and the same in the event of the club's termination of the contract.

And the former Al-Ahly and Egyptian national team player and current media player, Ahmed Schubert, said in televised statements that Al-Ahly’s offer stopped when the coach was granted a monthly salary of only 165,000 dollars, and only two months for each championship he obtained and only three months upon termination of the contract, which are the conditions rejected by the coach’s business manager.

The coach's relationship with Al-Ahly officials has been strained recently, due to his constant criticism of the players through the media, and the frequent talk about the stages of negotiation with Al-Ahly to renew his contract and the attempt to embarrass the club's management in front of its fans.

Musimani no longer enjoys the support of club president Mahmoud Al-Khatib, who on more than one occasion opposed the position of the Planning Committee not to renew Musimani's contract, and this appeared by asking the committee that is negotiating with the South African coach's business manager to adhere to the club's conditions to renew the contract, or to leave at the end of the season.
