Olivier Giroud scored twice for the second time in 5 days to lead Milan to a 4-0 victory over Lazio on Wednesday, and qualify to face rivals Inter Milan in the Italian Cup semi-finals.

Rafael Liao gave AC Milan the lead, before Giroud netted from close range twice within five minutes towards the end of the first half.

Lazio suffered a heavy blow when striker Ciro Immobile was injured after the break, and Frank Kessie completed the tragedy of the capital's team by scoring the fourth goal.

Milan will play Inter, who knocked out Roma on Tuesday, in a two-legged tie on March 2 and April 20.

Fiorentina will play its guest Atalanta, and Juventus against Sassuolo, with the remainder of the quarter-finals on Thursday.
