A delegation from "Citigroup" visits the Football Association and discusses joint cooperation

A delegation from Citigroup visited the headquarters of the Emirates Football Association in Dubai, and met with the Secretary-General of the Federation, Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri. The delegation included Ferran Soriano, Group CEO, and Diego Gigliani, Clubs Manager. The meeting was attended by Hamad Mohammed Al-Junaibi, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector in the Football Association, and Rashid Amer, Director of the National Teams Department.


The visit to the headquarters of the Federation in Dubai came within the framework of enhancing means of joint cooperation between the Football Association and the leading group, which is a professional model in the rehabilitation and refinement of football talents, as well as a huge investment project that has achieved successive successes over the past years.

The delegation toured the federation’s facilities, various offices and training grounds, and was acquainted with the mechanism of work in the various sectors of competitions and national teams, within the framework of the federation’s strategic plan and Vision 2038, which includes many initiatives, including the development of national teams, football talents, local competitions, arbitration and public interaction, among others.

The visit of the Citigroup delegation to the federation represented a new step in the framework of joint cooperation after the first meeting that brought together Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Emirates Football Association, with Ferran Soriano, CEO of the group, in the presence of Pep Guardiola, coach of the Manchester City team, At Expo 2020 last November.
