Cameroon continues its journey in "its" CAN.

This Saturday, the Indomitable Lions dominated Gambia in the quarter-finals, in Douala (2-0).

However, they waited for the second half and a double in seven minutes from Lyon striker Karl Toko-Ekambi (50th and 57th minutes) to eliminate the Scorpions, surprised by this competition for their first participation.

After the match, the hero of the day wanted to "pay tribute to the victims" of the stampede which caused the death of eight people Monday in Yaoundé, before the match of the Indomitable Lions against the Comoros.

Despite multiple attempts, captain Vincent Aboubakar, CAN's top scorer with six goals, failed to score.

In the semi-finals, Cameroon will meet the winner of the clash between Egypt and Morocco on Sunday.
