The Chinese delegation participated in the Winter Olympics for the first time at Lake Placid in the United States in 1980. So far, it has competed for 11 consecutive sessions, winning a total of 13 golds, 28 silvers, 21 bronzes and 62 medals.
Among them, short track speed skating has 10 gold, 15 silver and 8 bronze medals, a total of 33 medals, speed skating and figure skating are both 1 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze and 8 medals, freestyle skiing has 1 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals, and snowboard has 11 medals. 在这个奥运周期，中国“双子星”高亭宇和宁忠岩的出色表现，提升了外界对中国速度滑冰的期待值。
作为平昌冬奥会男子500米铜牌得主，如今的高亭宇已成为男子短距离项目金牌的有力竞争者。22岁的宁忠岩更是异军突起，2019年初登国际赛场便一鸣惊人，在世界杯分站赛男子1500米比赛中打破场地纪录摘金。他在2021-2022赛季世界杯上获得3金2银，与高亭宇一起被寄望成为中国男子速度滑冰的冬奥“破冰者”。
在北京冬奥会上，中国速滑队在男子500米、1000米、1500米上都有冲击金牌的可能，女子团体追逐项目将力争奖牌。
雪上：谷爱凌多点冲金 老将新星联袂争冠
与往届冬奥会相比，中国雪上项目的夺金点大大增加，其中自由式滑雪的混血少女谷爱凌将三线冲冠。
出生于美国的谷爱凌于2019年宣布加入中国籍。2021年3月，首次征战世锦赛的她带伤参赛，获得2金1铜。从去年12月至今，她在短短36天获得了6个顶级赛事冠军。
北京冬奥会上，谷爱凌将在女子U型场地、坡面障碍技巧、大跳台三线作战，三个项目上均有夺金实力。
自由式滑雪空中技巧，是中国传统优势项目中唯一的雪上小项，索契冬奥会女子空中技巧银牌得主徐梦桃、平昌冬奥会男子空中技巧亚军贾宗洋、“世界难度第一人”齐广璞均是冬奥四朝元老，他们均将向个人职业生涯的首枚冬奥金牌发起冲击。
空中技巧混合团体赛是北京冬奥会的新增项目，实力均衡的中国队在该项目上更具竞争力。在2006年的都灵冬奥会上，韩晓鹏获得自由式滑雪男子空中技巧冠军，收获了中国雪上项目的首枚、也是迄今唯一一枚冬奥金牌。在时隔16年之后，中国自由式滑雪空中技巧队有望与冬奥金牌“再续前缘”。
单板滑雪女子U型场地则是中国军团雪上项目的另一个夺金点。四年前，刘佳宇获得该项目银牌，为中国军团收获首枚单板滑雪奥运奖牌。蔡雪桐则在连续3个赛季获得该项目世界杯总冠军，这两位名将也都是第四次参加冬奥会。
如今，中国单板滑雪还首次获得男女坡面障碍技巧和大跳台的冬奥参赛席位。其中，17岁的苏翊鸣在一个月前的国际雪联大跳台分站赛中夺冠，为中国男子单板滑雪实现世界杯金牌零的突破。
此外，中国女子速滑队曾是一支荣誉之师，在索契冬奥会上张虹获得女子1000米金牌；中国女子冰壶队曾获2009年世锦赛冠军、2010年温哥华冬奥会铜牌；2015年才成立的中国钢架雪车队在去年的世界杯分站赛中获男子单人冠军，17岁小将何金博在两个月前成为完成倒滑Double Cork1800动作的中国第一人……这些队伍和选手的表现，同样值得期待。
在2010年的温哥华冬奥会上，中国代表团获得5金2银4铜共11枚奖牌，创造了迄今在冬奥会上的最佳战绩。在即将到来的北京冬奥会上，拥有天时地利人和的中国队有望实现超越，在其冬奥会征战史上竖起一座新的里程碑。(完)
