OM want to be ambitious for this second half of the season.

The Marseille club occupies 3rd place in the championship behind Paris Saint-Germain and Nice, trailing by a few points.

Does he enjoy a new dynamic under the direction of new coach Jorge Sampaoli?

Valentin Rongier, converted side midfielder, has found a significant playing time this season.

The former Nantes midfielder commented on the second half of the season and the ambitions of the Marseille club which plays in the championship, the Europa League Conference and the Coupe de France.

"The Coupe de France is a competition where there is a title to play for. There are not a lot of matches", declared Valentin Rongier.

And this season, Olympique de Marseille wants to shine on all fronts.

"It's difficult to go to the end of this competition, there are still very good teams and in any case, we want to play it and thoroughly, estimated the 27-year-old footballer. "That's a certitude.

We think, and maybe we overestimate ourselves, that we have the squad to play in all competitions.

And for that, we will do everything to win all the matches, whether it is a Championship match, a Cup match or a European Cup match.

We will try to go as far as possible in the three competitions and I hope we will get there."

The club will have to confirm its ambition this evening: Olympique de Marseille will play this Saturday, at 9 p.m., a home match against Montpellier.
