It's party time in Melbourne.

Favorite of the tournament and hearts, Ashleigh Barty won the Australian Open this Saturday, beating the American Danielle Collins in the final (6-3, 7-6 [2]).

The island-continent will therefore have waited 44 years to find an heiress in Chris O'Neil, the last "Aussie" crowned at home, in 1978. World number 1, Barty has not lost a single round during the fortnight.
