- It is not those very long downhills where you can recover.

But it is an interesting and harmonious course that I think suits us very well, he says and develops:

- We have seen during the winter that we have good speed out on the tracks, if we find the same speed now, I definitely think it is an advantage on this track where there can be large distances in the ride.

Despite the fact that there was not much wind today, it is something the biathletes are preparing for that they can handle during the competitions that start on 5 February.

"Normally blows more"

- I think it is good that we are here so early and have plenty of time, so that you get used to the fact that it can be cold and windy and not be surprised two days before the competition, says Lukas.

- We talk a lot with everyone around who has been here for a long time and IBU people who have worked with the shooting range for several weeks, and they have confirmed that it normally blows more.

But the 28-year-old also points out that one should not focus too much on details such as cold and wind.

- You have to see the whole picture and it is very positive right now.
