Ashleigh Barty made the process short with American Madison Keys, 26, in the semifinals of the Australian Open.

In 62 minutes, the match was over and the numbers were written to 6-1, 6-3 when she advanced to her first final in the tournament.

- It's unreal, unbelievable.

I love playing here in Australia and as an Australian I am just happy that I have the opportunity to play a final here, she says.

The world setter is the first home player since Wendy Turnbull, 1980, to succeed with the feat.

Barty has not lost a set in his six matches in the tournament and in addition only 21 games.

Next, either Danielle Collins or Iwa Swiatek await in the final.
