Nils van der Poel is the world record holder in the 10,000 and 5,000 meters.

Before the Olympics, the Swedish skater is one of the big blue-yellow medal jumps.

During the World Cup ahead of the Olympics, van der Poel has been superior to his opponents.

But after the Olympics, they will have a chance to even out the odds.

In a new SVT Sport documentary about Nils van der Poel, which will be released on SVT Play on Friday, the 25-year-old says that he intends to release a document in which he describes how he trains.

- I have thought for myself why I wrote it and some reasons are more flattering than others.

If the world records remain in ten years, I can at least say that I have tried to help them (the competitors).

- It took me twelve years to learn how to do.

Some lessons were harder than others.

It would be nice to save others from those detours.

I've been told by custom that I should not go out with it before the Olympics so that people do not worry.

There are people who think they can win Olympic gold in distances that I will compete in and I do not want to tell them that they can not.

I want them to keep their hope.
