Mohamed Salah reveals the Egyptian sports community .. and criticizes the fans of Al-Ahly, Zamalek and the "analysis studios"

The Egyptian football star and captain of the Pharaohs team, Mohamed Salah, criticized the sports community in Egypt and the fans of Al-Ahly and Zamalek and the "analysis studios."

Salah stressed that this will not harm him as a player because of his previous experiences in dealing with such matters and his participation with the national team ten years ago, but it will harm players who represent the future for the Egyptian team.

Salah called on the Egyptian public to encourage the entire team and not to encourage Al-Ahly fans for its players only or the Zamalek fans for its players only.

The Egyptian team will meet its counterpart Côte d'Ivoire tomorrow evening, Wednesday, in the round of 16 of the tournament, which is currently being held in Cameroon and will continue until February 6.

"I am 100 percent happy with the players and I don't think I spoke badly of anyone or vice versa," Salah said during a press conference held today in Cameroon.

He added, "I feel that sometimes there are those who are waiting for anything to talk about Salah or other players, unfortunately we live in the era of social networking sites and the fans of the national team have not become like the first. People encourage clubs and fans encourage players."

"It was not the case in the past, and Egyptian football was divided, and we saw pages for players to defend them or clubs, and they think that this is a good thing, but it is not," the captain said.

Salah added, “This is definitely not useful, you will not harm Mohamed Salah because I have gone through things like that, but it will certainly harm young players.” Just".

And he continued, “We are the Egyptian national team, and in order for us to win, it must reach the players that the entire fans are behind the team, this matter will not affect Mohamed Salah, because I have been playing for the team for ten years. There are other players who join for the first time and they represent the future.”

He continued, “If you love Egypt and the Egyptian national team, you should encourage the team and not a specific player. You harm the player and make him feel that he is more important than the team, and this is not true. There is no player more important than the team, even me or anyone else.”

Salah sent another message, saying: “Also, my message to people in the studios is that I hope to talk about the entire team and not one or two people. I do not follow, but there are those who follow and are affected by that.”

Salah stressed the difficulty of the current edition of the African Nations Cup, and explained: "The African Cup of Nations is a very difficult tournament, and from the beginning, I saw that even the best teams struggle to win."

He said, "I lost a previous edition of the African Nations Championship after we reached the final in 2017, but I certainly strive to win the title of that edition."
