The head of WADA made an appeal before the start of the Olympic Games in Beijing

“We are looking forward to the 2022 Games.

We will continue to work closely with the International Testing Agency (ITA) and be guided by the Anti-Doping Rules to ensure that all athletes are tested for doping.

As usual, we will send a team of independent observers to Beijing.

It will provide the ITA and the IOC with a full, real-time report of all events from the competition venue, as well as every aspect of the anti-doping process.

A full report will be compiled later in 2022.

For us, cooperation with the organizers of the Games is of great importance.

The Beijing Olympic Games will be held from 4 to 20 February 2022.
