Al-Ittifaq contracts with German Amin Younes

The Saudi Ettifaq Football Club announced on Sunday that it had signed German winger Amin Younes, a professional in Eintracht Frankfurt, on loan from Italy's Napoli, until 2024.

A statement on the club's website stated that the 27-year-old moved "in a free transfer deal to support the ranks of Al-Ittifaq until 2024."

He continued, "The contract with the German star came on the recommendation of Serbian coach Vladan Milojevic, according to the technical needs of the team for the next stage."

Born in a Lebanese father and a German mother, Younes started his football career in the junior team of Borussia Monchengladbach in 2000, until he was promoted to the first team in 2012, before leaving in 2014 for one season on loan to Kaiserslautern.

In 2015, he moved to Ajax Amsterdam and then Napoli in July 2018 with a free transfer deal, to be one of the elements of the Italian Cup winning team 2020.

After that, he decided to return to the German League in the summer of 2020 on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt for two seasons from Napoli.

At the international level, Younes has represented Germany since 2017, winning the Confederations Cup in Russia.
