He is a retired North American Hockey League hockey player who played for the Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers.
Jamie was selected by the Calgary Flames with the 44th overall pick in the second round of the 1993 North American Hockey League draft.
In his 11-season career as a league defender, he played in 372 games, scoring seven goals and providing 23 assists.
