It seems difficult for Son Heung-min (30, Tottenham), who is recovering from an injury, to join the Bentuho squad ahead of two consecutive matches in the 2022 Qatar World Cup final qualifiers.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte announced the condition of the injured players through the club's website on the 22nd ahead of the away match against Chelsea in the English Premier League for the 2021-2022 season to be held at 1:30 am (Korean time) on the 24th.

First, coach Conte, who announced the return of defender Eric Dier, also mentioned the situation of Son Heung-min.

Son Heung-min is recovering from a leg muscle injury after playing the first leg of the Carabao Cup (League Cup) semi-final against Chelsea on the 6th.

"Heung-Min Son can't play yet," Conte said.

He continued, "Son Heung-min is recovering well," but "we have to wait until the end of the match A break," he confirmed once again the existing outlook for the time of his return.

After the Chelsea match, Tottenham will have a break before the FA Cup 4 round (round 32) match against Brighton and Hove Albion on February 6th.

Tottenham's Premier League match resumes on February 10 against Southampton.

According to coach Conte, Son Heung-min is unlikely to join the Korean national team, which will play the 7th and 8th rounds of the Asian final qualifying rounds against Lebanon on the 27th and Syria on February 1st.

Coach Paulo Bento, who is leading the national team and is being quenched in Turkey, announced on the 17th that six foreign players including Hwang Ui-jo (Bordeaux), Kim Min-jae (Fenerbahce), and Lee Jae-seong (Mainz) will participate in the second round of the World Cup final qualifiers. We will make a final decision on whether or not to be selected after watching for a little more.”

Overseas players will enter Turkey on the 24th and join the national team.
