Al-Ittihad strengthens its lead in the Saudi League with a fatal victory over Al-Faisaly

Brazilian Romarinho da Silva led Al-Ittihad team to a fatal and valuable victory over its guest Al-Faisaly 1-0, Friday, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the eighteenth stage of the Saudi Football League.

The positive tie settled 1-1, facing Al-Batin and Al-Hilal, as Al-Batin advanced in the 31st minute through the Angolan Fabio Abreu, but the French Bafetimbi Gomez equalized for Al-Hilal in the 54th minute from a penalty kick, which the referee returned again.

The balance of Al-Batin became 16 points in the fourteenth place, while Al Hilal raised its score to 31 points in the fourth place.

Damak tied 1-1 with its guest Al-Ahly, bringing the balance of the first to 30 points in fifth place, while Al-Ahly's balance rose to 20 points in ninth place.

Damak advanced early through Algerian Arab Hilal Soudani in the fourth minute, before Al-Ahly equalized its Syrian top scorer Omar Al-Soma with a penalty kick in the 40th minute.
