The Sudanese Minister of Sports and Youth resigns 24 hours after his appointment

Sudan Press reported today that the new Sudanese Minister of Youth and Sports, appointed by the President of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Ayman Selim, submitted his resignation only 24 hours after his appointment.

The website said that Ayman Selim considered the appointment "unconstitutional" and therefore decided to submit his resignation, knowing that he is currently holding the position of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The new minister was among the names appointed in the decision of the President of the Sovereignty Council issued yesterday.
