After a fairly tentative start to the European Handball Championship, Sweden now has two straight victories in the main round.

Yesterday's win against Russia was followed by 28-18 against Poland.

The first half was phenomenal and the lead was written to 14-6.

The best on the field was goalkeeper Tobias Thulin, the third choice behind Peter Johannesson and Andreas Palicka.

Thulin was over 40 percent in the match and stopped the Poles' progress time and time again, especially from the edges.

The 26-year-old, everyday in Stuttgart, has never before played a championship match and now gives the national team management the main concern for the future after being clearly the best in the Swedish team.

It was a rejected second half where the team took turns scoring goals.

Total 28-18.

Two important points come into the account and next awaits Germany and Norway.
