He added, "More than 140,000 tickets were requested for the final match, which is scheduled to take place on December 18 at Lusail Stadium, and more than 80,000 tickets were requested for the opening match."

"In light of the remarkable turnout from all over the world, FIFA would like to remind all fans that its official website is the only legitimate website on which to apply for tickets for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar," he said.

He continued, "Fans during the first stage of sales, which ends on February 8, 2022, can submit ticket requests at any time, and at this stage all requests will have equal opportunities to purchase tickets, whether requests for tickets are submitted on the first day or on the last day." or anytime in between.

“The allocation of tickets begins after the submission of applications ends. If the number of tickets applied for exceeds the number of tickets available to fans from inside or outside Qatar, tickets will be allocated to applicants through a random drawing process,” FIFA said.
