The Swedish cross-country national team is charging for the Olympics in Italy.

In addition to Calle Halfvarsson, who has been missing since before, it is now clear that Leo Johansson is also missing.

The 22-year-old has tested positive for covid-19.

- He is feeling well and he is training.

But it is clear that it is unfortunate, says national team manager Anders Byström.

The Swedish national team squad will go to Beijing next week and it is unclear whether Johansson can follow then.

Leo Johansson broke through in earnest in the Swedish premiere in Gällivare where he was a great success with wins in both 15 km classic and 15 km freestyle.

After his World Cup debut, it was clear that he was also awarded an Olympic ticket.

The Olympics start on February 4.
