By his own admission, discussions had already taken place the previous summer with the former Arsenal defender.
And the arrivals of Mattéo Guendouzi, William Saliba, whom the Bosnian knew at Arsenal, or Amine Harit at Schalke, made him interested in OM.
“I have always kept in touch with them, and since Marseille often play late, I was able to follow almost all the matches.

“I was given this nickname in Bosnia, so I think it comes from the way I play.
But I don't like that nickname, call me 'Kola', I would prefer,” he warned.
Sead Kolasinac, like the other rookie Cédric Bakambu, is available for the next match against Lens (Saturday, 9 p.m.), but not sure that we will see him start, he who has played very little this season.
“Yes it's true that I haven't played much this season at Arsenal, then I was injured in the national team.
But I worked hard to come back, and the last few weeks I worked alone with a physical trainer.
But I found the grounds and I feel ready, ”he announced.
Olympique de Marseille has in any case perfectly filled the departure of Jordan Amavi on loan from Nice.
