An embarrassing situation for Salima, the first wise woman in the history of the African Cup.. Video

On Tuesday, Rwandan referee Salima Mukansanga entered the history of the African Nations Cup for men, as the first referee in history to lead a match during the tournament competitions currently being held in Cameroon.

Salima took charge of the Zimbabwe match against Guinea for the third round of Group B, which ended with Zimbabwe winning by two goals to one.

The Rwandan wisdom led the match ably, but it was exposed to an embarrassing and funny situation in one of the shots, when it wanted to show the yellow card in the face of the Zimbabwe goalkeeper.

Salima ran towards the goalkeeper to warn him, but when she put her hand in her pocket, she did not find the yellow card, so she kept looking for it before one of the players who found it on the field quickly brought it to her. Wisdom then declared her card in the goalkeeper's face.

And Salima, wrote her name in golden letters, last week, during the match between Guinea against Malawi, after she was present as the fourth referee in the match, to be the first time in the history of the tournament as well, that she participated in one of the African Cup matches.

It is noteworthy that among the 63 referees in the African Nations Cup this year, four women were present, they are: Cameroonian Karen Atemzabong, in addition to Moroccans Fatiha Jarmoumi and Bouchra Karboubi, as well as Salima Mukansanga.
