Sweden's Mikael Ymer, ranked 86th in the world, won a tough draw at the Australian Open.

He faced world number four Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round, and lost as expected.

Early break in third

However, Ymer was good, both in the second and third set.

In the second it was 4-4, before Tsitsipas broke Ymer's serve and then served the match home.

In the third set, the Greek broke early, until 2-1.

After that, Mikael Ymer had break balls in both Tsitsipa's upcoming serve games - without managing them.

When Tsitsipas then again broke Ymer's serve for 6-3 in the third set, it was all over.

Mikael Ymer has finished playing in the Australian Open singles tournament 2022.

The final score was 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 in Tsitsipa's favor.
