It was not a fun evening for Carlsbogård when Sweden lost the group stage match against Spain.

He says himself that he did not get into the match and when Sweden chased an equalizer at the end of the match, he missed a pass completely - and threw the ball over the sideline.

- You think you're stupid in the head.

But it's just to move on, says Carlsbogård.

On Sunday, Carlsbogård has received support from both teammates and other people.

- Everyone is very supportive.

Both here and also from home.

We have very nice people around us and it is a very wonderful group in that way, says Carlsbogård.

Jim Gottfridsson said after the match last Saturday that he would have a chat with Carlsbogård.

He has done the same.

- It is not a crisis talk but we talked about the positive.

He is very aware that it was a bad pass and I know how many such passes I have made.

It was mostly that I wanted to point out how important he is to us and that he must release it as soon as possible because we need him against the Czech Republic, says Gottfridsson.

Has turned leaves

Sweden meets the Czech Republic on Monday in what is a must-win match.

It is the last group match before the main round and both enter with their respective victories and losses.

Before the match, they have gone through the loss against Spain - but now they have turned the page.

- We talked about it last night.

It is important to refuel a lot of sleep and have meetings - then we have to forget about it.

Having negativity and bad energy in a must-match does not help us move forward, says Gottfridsson.
