Chloe Kim of the United States rose to the top in the women's halfpipe event at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Cup, increasing her chances of winning the Olympics for the second time in a row.

Chloe Kim scored 90.25 points in the women's halfpipe final of the 2021-2022 FIS Snowboard World Cup in Lax, Switzerland, and took first place with 89.00 points, beating Japan's Ono Mitsuki, who finished second.

Chloe Kim, the gold medalist in this category at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, returned to the top of the World Cup in 10 months after the World Cup held in Aspen, Colorado, USA in March last year.

The Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup will be held three times this season, but Chloe Kim did not appear in the previous two matches, and she won the final event of the season and revealed the prospects for the Beijing Winter Olympics in February.

Chloe Kim, whose parents are both Korean, has won all eight competitions, including the Olympics, the World Cup, and the World Championships, which she participated in from the Pyeongchang Olympics in February 2018 to this event.

Chloe Kim, who attends the prestigious Princeton University in the United States, temporarily suspended her athlete activities in 2019 after the Pyeongchang Olympics, but returned to the snowy field last year and is still demonstrating her overwhelming skills.

In the men's match held together, Japan's Ayumu Hirano took first place with 93.25 points.
