According to Zhao Hui, deputy general manager of the company, they mainly use electrolyzed water to produce hydrogen, and the raw materials for hydrogen production are mainly water and electricity. Zhangjiakou has sufficient wind power and photovoltaic resources, and uses "green electricity" to produce "green hydrogen". The process has zero carbon emissions and zero pollution.

Our Zhangjiakou Haiper Company officially started production on September 1, 2020. We use Zhangjiakou's green power to produce green hydrogen, and we are the hydrogen supply unit for the (Beijing) 2022 Winter Olympics. We are now producing at full capacity It is four tons of hydrogen per day, which can meet the needs of more than 400 (hydrogen) fuel cell buses for one day.
[Explanation] According to Li Jianfeng, deputy director of the hydrogen energy industry development section of Zhangjiakou Development and Reform Commission, with the opportunity of preparing for the Winter Olympics, Zhangjiakou City vigorously develops the hydrogen energy industry, forming a whole industrial chain of production, storage, transportation, addition and use.
At present, the maximum daily hydrogen production capacity of Zhangjiakou is about 13 tons, which can fully meet the hydrogen demand of Zhangjiakou competition area during the Winter Olympics.
At the hydrogen refueling station in Taizicheng, Chongli District, Zhangjiakou, the reporter learned that the station has a hydrogen refueling area, a hydrogen storage tank area, and a process device area, equipped with 4 35 MPa hydrogen refueling guns and 1 70 MPa hydrogen refueling gun , the maximum hydrogen fuel filling amount in a single day is 1700 kg.

The designed filling capacity of the Prince City hydrogen refueling station is about 1,000 kilograms in 12 hours, and the maximum filling amount in a single day is 1,700 kilograms. Four hydrogen energy vehicles can be refilled on site at the same time, and the refueling time for a single vehicle is about 8 minutes.
Through the test of the test competition, our Prince City hydrogen refueling station has made various preparations to serve the Olympic Games and escort the energy supply for the Olympic Games.
