Zamalek coach Carteron receives offers from the Emirates and Saudi Arabia

"Emirates Today" learned that Zamalek's Egyptian-French coach Patrice Carteron, 51, who is currently under a contract with Zamalek, wants to leave the Egyptian club by mutual consent after receiving offers from clubs in the UAE and Saudi leagues.

It is noteworthy that Carteron, who led Zamalek in two periods, the first was in 2019 and went through a major crisis with the Egyptian club, specifically with the former club president, Counselor Mortada Mansour, to leave Zamalek to lead the Saudi cooperation after he terminated his contract by mutual consent in September 2020, while the second period of the French coach was with Zamalek in March 2021, after returning to it from Saudi cooperation.

Carteron led Zamalek to win three titles, including the African Super Cup in 2020 after beating Tunisia's Esperance 3-1. He also won the General League championship in Egypt and the Egypt Cup with him.
