On January 14, the Ministry of Public Security held a press conference to report the work measures and achievements of the "Clean Net 2021" special campaign deployed by public security organs across the country.
According to Sun Jinfeng, political commissar of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, "black cards, black numbers, black lines, and black equipment" are the four key materials for the implementation of cyber crimes, and have become an important support for various cyber criminal gangs to avoid supervision and crackdowns.
In this regard, the public security organs have comprehensively launched the "Four Breaks" action, focusing on key targets such as card merchants, account merchants, and code-receiving platforms, and attacked with heavy blows. In 2021, a total of more than 13,000 such cases will be investigated and 3.1 criminal suspects will be arrested. More than 10,000 people, cleaned up more than 3 million mobile phone black cards, shut down more than 10 million online black accounts, destroyed 63 code-receiving platforms, and seized more than 10,000 black-produced equipment such as "Maochi".
