Philippe Coutinho sparkled in his first appearance with Aston Villa after participating as a substitute, and led him to a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in the English Premier League today, Saturday.

It seemed that United would achieve its second victory in one week against Steven Gerrard's team, after Bruno Fernandes scored a goal in each half, and the first came after a fatal mistake by goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

Villa's performance improved a lot in the second half, but Coutinho left an impressive mark after he participated after Fernandez's second goal in the 67th minute.

And Coutinho contributed greatly to reducing the difference after passing to his colleague Jacob Ramsey, who shot strongly in the goal.

Ramsey then passed the ball to Coutinho, so that the former Liverpool and Brazil player equalized from close range in the 82nd minute.

Coutinho almost stunned United with a huge shot saved by goalkeeper David de Gea, to prevent the hosts from winning.

United is seventh with 32 points from 20 games, while Villa is 13th with 23 points.
