Yakult players who won the best in Japan last season in professional baseball have released their own training in Matsuyama City, and have started to win the Central League consecutively and become the best in Japan for the second consecutive year.

Yakult, which won the number one spot in Japan for the first time in 20 years, has some athletes conducting voluntary training every year at the Bocchan Stadium in Matsuyama City.

This year, nine players including captain Tetsuto Yamada and Yuhei Nakamura, who was selected as the MVP = Most Valuable Player in the Japan Series, and one Hiroshima player are participating, and it is adjacent to the stadium due to rain on the 11th. I practiced in the indoor practice area.

The players practiced batting after sweating with a light menu such as catch ball and knock.

Of these, Yamada, who hit 34 home runs last season and marked the third-placed RBI "101" in the Central League, repeatedly repelled the mountainous ball thrown by the batting pitcher.

Yamada expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "When I come to Matsuyama, I feel more relaxed. The environment is good and it's always a plus. I want to be conscious of gaining the physical strength to fight for a year and stick to the numbers and leave results."

Nakamura said, "I want to lay the foundation for spending time without injury in Matsuyama. I want to challenge with the feeling of a challenger toward the high goal of winning the league title in a row and being the best in Japan for the second consecutive year."
