Ahmed Abu Abla, the doctor of the Egyptian Al-Ahly team, confirmed that he is awaiting the arrival of Moroccan defender Badr Banoun to Cairo, to undergo comprehensive medical examinations to check on his health after leaving the camp of the Moroccan national team participating in the African Nations Cup, which is currently being held in Cameroon.

Abu Abla said in statements to his club's official website, today, Tuesday, that the coming period will witness the identification of the player's treatment and medical program in the coming period, after his return and check on him in Cairo.

The Moroccan team had announced the exclusion of Badr Bannon from his camp in the African Nations Championship, and summoning Zamalek player Ashraf bin Sharqi as his replacement, after Bannon suffered complications due to a previous infection with the emerging Corona virus.
