The scandal involving Novak Djokovic, which lasted almost a week, was brought to an end on Monday.

The tennis player won a court hearing, during which the decision to revoke his Australian visa was invalidated, and the athlete was finally able to get out of isolation.

First of all, he went to training, for the sake of working on the court, even refusing to participate in the family press conference, and posted a photo from the lesson on Instagram, at the same time thanking all the fans for their support.

“I am very glad and grateful that the judge canceled the cancellation of my visa.

Despite everything that has happened over the past week, I want to stay and play at the Australian Open.

I am still focused on this.

I flew here to play at one of the most important tournaments in front of amazing fans, ”wrote the first racket of the world.

Instead of Djokovic, his relatives talked to the journalists, who, in the course of events, commented on what was happening and accused the Australian authorities of illegal actions.

The first news of the long-awaited release of Nole was reported by his brother George.

“We, as a family, had a very difficult time, we are worried about my brother.

It is very difficult to defend Novak without offending anyone.

We are fighters for justice and the rule of law.

We did our best to follow the procedures and show everyone in the world that we need to support Novak, ”he said.

According to Djokovic Jr., initially there was no reason to cancel his brother's visa, since he had all the necessary documents confirming the legality of providing him with a medical exemption from vaccination against coronavirus.

However, he admitted that the tennis player in this matter "supports freedom of choice."

The mother of the athlete Diyan behaved much more emotionally.

She called the court's decision the main victory of her son in her career, which is more important than any success at the Grand Slam tournaments.

“He did nothing wrong or break any of their laws.

He was persecuted.

He began to oppose the system and the authorities, because he had the right to be there.

We have never had to find ourselves in a similar situation before, ”the woman complained.

Moreover, the stay of the athlete in a quarantine hotel for several days was compared by his parents to torture, and the authorities of the country accused him of violating human rights.

But his family members refused to answer the question about inconsistencies in the medical department of Djokovic.

They immediately announced the end of the press conference and finally sang a Serbian national song.

The Charge d'Affaires of Serbia in the Russian Federation Slavoljub Tsarich also spoke about the incident.

In an interview with RT, he expressed the hope that the Australian authorities will respect the decision of their court.

In his opinion, the tennis player "unwittingly became a victim of political games."

According to him, the athlete was specially lured into the country in order to humiliate him, and Serbia is extremely unhappy with the current situation.

“Djokovic is not a criminal, not a terrorist, and not an illegal migrant ... Nevertheless, the Australian authorities treated him in this way, which naturally causes outrage among his fans, among Serbian citizens and in general among people around the world,” Tsaric said. ...

In early January, it was announced that Novak had been provided with a medication, and the organizers of the Australian Open announced his participation in the tournament.

However, the country's authorities initially threatened to deny him entry.

As a result, on the 5th, the first racket of the planet was isolated at the Melbourne airport.

There he was guarded by the local police.

Later, his visa was canceled, although three tennis players with the same medical leads were allowed to Australia.

The detention of the tennis player caused a serious scandal, which was commented on by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who called the incident "political persecution."

Judge Anthony Kelly granted the athlete's appeal and ordered to immediately release him from the quarantine hotel, as well as return his passport and personal belongings.

In his opinion, the border guards, detaining the Serb, committed serious violations.

“The professor and a highly qualified doctor prepared and provided the applicant with a medical challenge.

In addition, this medical withdrawal, as well as the grounds on which it was issued, were separately presented by an expert commission organized by the government of Victoria, and the corresponding document was in the hands of the delegate.

And I am worried about this question: what else could he have done beyond that? "

- emphasized Kelly.

However, the question of whether the Serb had the right to receive a medical exemption remains open.

Judging by media reports, even before the start of the meeting, the Interior Ministry threatened to expel Djokovic from the country, even if he won the case.

Australian authorities do not believe that Novak legally escaped vaccination and may prevent him from entering.

Allegedly, the Minister of Immigration is able to pass a verdict on this at any time.

Unsurprisingly, information about the re-arrest immediately surfaced, which led to minor riots in Melbourne.

A large number of his compatriots who live in the city initially gathered near the building of the Federal Court.

They brought flags and scarves with them and noisily cheered the idol.

Despite Djokovic's victory in court, some inconsistencies can already be found in his medical department.

Novak's relatives just refused to answer the question about one of them.

For example, according to the information contained in the document, the tennis player did not begin to do the vaccine, since he was diagnosed with coronavirus on December 16.

At the same time, it became known that he later attended two public events.

On the 17th, Novak took part in the presentation ceremony of a commemorative stamp with his own image, and then went to the ceremony of awarding children.

At the same time, in the photographs, the athlete is depicted without a protective mask.

Finally, on the 18th, he attended a photo shoot for the French edition of L'Equipe and again did not wear a mask.

Well-known journalist Ben Rotenberg reported another oddity.

The QR code indicated in the documents indicates that the athlete was not sick with COVID-19 within the specified time frame.

However, when you scan it again, the results are different.
