1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics
This is the first time China has sent a team to the Winter Olympics.
Zhao Weichang, a famous speed skating player who has won the men's national speed skating all-around championship for 11 consecutive times and broke national records 26 times, served as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the Chinese delegation.
He also became the first flag-bearer of the Chinese sports delegation for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.

1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics
This is the second time that the Chinese team has participated in the Winter Olympics. Speed skating star Zhao Shijian served as the flag bearer of the Chinese delegation.
From 1973 to 1983, Zhao Shijian was unmatched in the domestic men's 5,000 and 10,000-meter speed skating events.

1988 Calgary Winter Olympics
Figure skater Zhang Shubin served as the flag bearer for the Chinese delegation at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.
From 1985 to 1992, he won the national figure skating men's single skating championship for eight consecutive years.
1992 Albertville Winter Olympics
At the opening ceremony, speed skater Song Chen served as the flag bearer of the Chinese delegation.
In 1993, he won the World Men's Speed Skating Championships in the 500m, becoming China's second men's speed skating world champion after Luo Zhihuan.
1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics
Speed skater Liu Gongfei served as the flag bearer for the Chinese delegation.
From 1980 to 1983, he broke the Xinjiang 1500-meter speed skating record for four consecutive years.
After retiring, Liu Gongfei served as the coach of the Xinjiang Speed Skating Team.
On February 15, 2010, Chinese players Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo won the championship in the figure skating pair free skating competition at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

1998 Nagano Winter Olympics
Figure skater Zhao Hongbo, who made his first appearance at the Winter Olympics, served as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the Chinese delegation.
In that competition, his partner Shen Xue ranked 5th in the pair skating competition, which was the best result achieved in China's pair skating at that time.
2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics
In this Winter Olympics, the Chinese delegation achieved a breakthrough of zero gold medals.
At the opening ceremony, figure skater Zhang Min served as the flag bearer of the Chinese delegation. He is also the third Chinese figure skater to serve as the flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.

2006 Torino Winter Olympics

At the Turin Winter Olympics, she served as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony and was the first female flag bearer in the history of the Chinese Winter Olympics.

2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics
Han Xiaopeng, a freestyle skier and aerialist, served as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the Chinese delegation to the Winter Olympics.
At the Turin Winter Olympics, he helped the Chinese team achieve zero gold medal breakthroughs in snow sports.

2014 Sochi Winter Olympics
As the oldest athlete in the Chinese delegation at that time, Tong Jian, a veteran of figure skating and pair skating, served as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the Chinese delegation.
He and Pang Qing won the pair skating runner-up at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
On February 9, 2018, the opening ceremony of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics was held at the PyeongChang Olympic Stadium in South Korea, and all delegations entered the stadium.
