He has been accused of having sexually abused his ex-wife, faked a vaccination certificate and applied for personal bankruptcy with SEK 225 million in debt.
For the fake vaccination certificate, Kane was punished with a 21-match suspension and has since been allowed to stay in the grandparents' league AHL.
But now San Jose has had enough.
According to the club's website, Kane is placed on "unconditional waivers" with the aim of terminating the 30-year-old's contract.
The reason is that he has violated the corona rules in the AHL and breach of contract with San Jose.
