When Anna Swenn Larsson today finished third in the slalom Kranjska Gora, it was her first podium finish in almost two years.

But it was also Sweden's seventh podium place in the World Cup this season.

In addition to Swenn Larssons, Kristoffer Jakobsen has taken two pieces and Sara Hector four pieces.

- It's great fun to see Sara (Hector) and it's very inspiring.

There is not much that can stop her right now, says Anna Swenn Larsson.

Behind Sara Hector and Anna Swenn Larsson, skiers such as Charlotta Säfvenberg, 27, Hanna Aronsson Elfman, 19, Estelle Alphand, 26, and Lisa Hörnblad, 25, have scored points in the Alpine World Cup.

Seven Swedish podium places so far

Sweden comes from a historically heavy year last year where they had their worst season in terms of results in 47 years in the World Cup when they jointly took just one podium.

But this season it has looked different.

- It is fantastic that they now only line up the podium places.

Kristoffer Jakobsen (two), Sara Hector (four) and now Anna Swenn Larsson (one), says Pernilla Wiberg.
