Johannes Thingnes Bö has three Olympic medals and an insane 24 World Cup medals on his merit list.
He has won the overall World Cup three years in a row.
Now he is "only" seventh overall in the World Cup and in Oberhof had a bad weekend.
He was sad after the start of the hunt.
- It's the worst weekend I've had.
It's absolutely awful.
It's probably ten years since I was this bad, he says.
The Beijing Olympics are not far away and the form is not where it should be for the 28-year-old.
- Of course I am worried about the Olympics, something else would have been stupid to say.
Right now I am not a medal favorite, he says to NRK.
Sebastian Samuelsson, who finished second in the hunt start, does not agree with the Norwegian about the Olympic forecast.
- Johannes Thingnes Bö is the gold favorite in all distances he competes in. I think so.
No one has the top level he has.
Since then, he has had a bit of a struggle, but he will be a tough opponent in Beijing, he says.
