Sävehof got a nightmare start in the Champions League match against the reigning champions Vipers Kristiansand.

The away team went up in the lead with 13-3 in the first period.

An early move that Sävehof was never close to catching up with.

- It is a bit too tough resistance we face.

We were not in the beginning and then it became difficult to catch up, says Sävehof's Frida Rosell, who became the top scorer in the home team with her seven hits, in Viaplay's broadcast.

The Norwegian club, with the Swedes Isabelle Gulldén and Evelina Eriksson, kept out of the match despite Sävehof playing at times.

Many thanks to Jamina Roberts who in the first half repeatedly showed high class.

Disaster start to the second half

The second half started as badly as the first for Sävehof.

20 minutes into the half, they had still only managed one goal.

It loosened up a bit towards the end of the second half and Sävehof got in a total of eight balls, which gave the final result 23-42 in favor of the guests.

Isabelle Gulldén, with a past in Sävehof got to play in the second half of the match.

The 32-year-old showed that the good game feeling is intact as she was behind a lot in the offensive path and also had to score goals.

Sävehof is second last in the group, one point behind Crimea, which is in sixth place, which gives a place in the round of 16.
