Canada wins ATP Cup after victory over Spain in final

Canada won the ATP Cup against Spain on Sunday, succeeding Russia in this young team tournament, which opened in 2020, after Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov won both singles matches.

It was Auger-Aliassime, 21 years old and 11th in the world, who brought the point of victory by winning 7-6 (7/3), 6-3 against Roberto Bautista (19th).

A little earlier, Shapovalov (14th) had the better of Pablo Carreno (20th) 6-4, 6-3.
