[Explanation] On January 8, the 5th Ice Dragon Boat Race hosted by the Yinchuan Municipal Sports Bureau was held at the Yuehai Ski Resort in Yinchuan City, Ningxia.
The competition consisted of three groups: men's, women's and mixed groups. A total of more than 300 athletes from 21 teams competed fiercely on the ice.

Today is the first day of "March 9", and it is also the traditional day for our Yinchuan City to carry out the ice dragon boat project.
Since 2010, Yinchuan City has extended the water dragon boat to the ice dragon boat. Through the promotion and popularization of the past 12 years, more and more people have participated.
Every year, more and more teams are participating. This year, 20 (21) teams signed up for the ice dragon boat race.
[Explanation] Ice dragon boat not only retains the skill and competitiveness of traditional dragon boat sports, but also breaks the seasonal limitations of traditional dragon boat sports, making it more interesting.
It is a brand-new ice sport that integrates competitive, team and entertainment.
In the participating teams, from teenagers to adults in their 60s, everyone can participate and feel the charm of ice sports.

I am 64 years old this year, and it is my second time to participate in the Yinchuan Ice Dragon Boat Race.
We are very active in this sport and call on more citizens to get involved in ice sports.
[Commentary] Ni Shuxian, the female captain from Xianglong Kayak Association, is an athlete who won the championship in the 2nd China Pulp Board Open.
In this ice dragon boat competition, she served as the drummer in the team, leading the female team members to ride the wind and waves, and won the first place in the women's 100 meters.
