Sara Hector won today's giant slalom in Kranjska Gora with 96 hundredths ahead of the Frenchwoman Tessa Worley.

A huge change compared to the same competition last year.

- She was 5.5 seconds behind in the first run in Kranjska Gora last year and did not qualify for the second run.

To then come back and win on the same hill is incredibly strong, says Wiberg.

The expert points above all to the mental as the explanation for the improvement.

- She has really found something.

The mental strength has been her little Achilles heel, which she has also talked about.

She has chosen to work with a mental coach and now she has really come somewhere and it has given results.

Of course, it's not just that either.

It is also the training on the slopes and she has found the material, among other things, she says.

If the Olympics were to be decided tomorrow, Wiberg would keep Hector as the gold favorite in the giant slalom.

- As it is now, she is the biggest favorite.

If she were to lose shape, maybe someone else is the favorite.

But right now she is clearly the biggest favorite to win Olympic gold.

She also believes that Hector can handle the press as a favorite.

- She must be able to take the medal press when she has lined up these placements.

She is probably fully aware of that herself as well.

She's not a pigeon, she's been to the Olympics before.

I actually think she can handle the press as it means being the favorite.
