Joint voluntary training for professional baseball players and newcomers to Hiroshima has begun, and pitcher Takumi Kurohara, who is in first place in the draft, said, "I want to build my body so that I can throw it firmly."

Eleven new professional baseball players from Hiroshima entered the dormitory of the baseball team in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture on the 7th, and started joint voluntary training on the 8th at the practice field adjacent to the dormitory.

The players warmed up and played catch under the guidance of the team trainer.

Among them, pitcher Kurohara, a left pitcher who joined the team from Kwansei Gakuin University in the first place in the draft, carefully threw one ball at a time to check his feelings.

After this, the players were knocked and handled the ball with a light movement.

Pitcher Kurohara said, "It was tough, but it was also a good stimulus. By the time the camp starts, I want to build my body so that I can throw it firmly with a bullpen."

In addition, pitcher Shohei Mori, who joined the team from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries West in 2nd place in the draft, said, "I want to get used to it as soon as possible and improve my technical level after gaining basic physical strength."

The new players will continue to jointly train independently to prepare for the spring camp next month.
