Sharjah threatens to spoil Al Ain's joy with the "winter title"... and Cosmin collides with his former team

Al Ain, which leads the ADNOC Professional League, will be a heavy guest on Sharjah at 19.30 pm, in round 13 at the end of the first round, in one of the most important and strongest confrontations in the league, knowing that the last meeting between the two teams was in the second round of the league last season, and ended with Al Ain victory 2-1 at Sharjah Stadium, while the two teams met in the first round of the league last season, with Sharjah winning the same result at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Al Ain leads the league with 30 points, nine points behind its closest rival, Al Wahda, which is second with 21 points, while the difference between Al Ain and Sharjah is 10 points.

Sharjah, which occupies fourth place in the league standings with 20 points, plans to inflict the first defeat on Al-Ain, and spoil his joy with the title of the Winter Champion, especially since the match is taking place on his land and in the midst of his fans.

Al-Ain, who won the title of Winter Champion and has not suffered a loss so far, won nine matches and drew in three, is seeking to finish the first round without any loss.

This is the first confrontation of the Romanian coach of Sharjah, Cosmin Olario, with his former team, Al Ain, since he took over the "King" training.

Although Sharjah, who drew in the last match against the Emirates team, is going through difficult conditions, and its ranks are witnessing impressive absences, including the absence of team captain Shaheen Abdul Rahman due to suspension, and the Congolese team striker Ben Malango due to injury, but the technical staff led by Cosmin is counting on the elements led by the Brazilian Cayo Lucas.

Kuzmin confirmed in a press statement that his team is going through difficult conditions and that his ranks are experiencing large absences, but despite that, he will fight in the match until the last minute.

On the other hand, Al-Ain enters the match with high spirits, after leading, and in light of the brilliance of a group of its elements, despite the impressive absences, especially at the level of the defense line.

Al Ain will miss its very prominent star, Moroccan Sofiane Rahimi, who joined his country's national team to participate in the African Nations Cup.

Al-Ain coach Rebrov stressed in a press statement that his team is living in a positive atmosphere and is fully prepared for the match.
