Walter Wallberg, 21, impresses ahead of the Beijing Olympics.

For the second World Cup in a row, he finished second behind home skier Mikael Kingsbury, 29.

The Swede was second best in the final and advanced to the super final.

There he went second last and took the lead, but Kingsbury was even better.

Wallberg scored 84.65 points and Kingsbury 86.24.

Third was the Japanese Ikuma Horishima.

Wallberg pulled off the cruciate ligament in February 2020, and has made a comeback this season.

Ludvig Fjällström and Albin Holmgren, who are also ready for the Olympics, did not advance from the qualifiers.
