After replacing Li Tie as the new coach of the National Football Team, Li Xiaopeng made his first "point general". A total of 52 players were selected for the first training list. The coaching team is also extremely large, consisting of 15 people including Sun Jihai, Zheng Zhi, and Shao Jiayi.
On the 3rd of last month, the Chinese Football Association announced that it had accepted Li Tie’s request to resign as the head coach of the national team and appointed Li Xiaopeng as the coach of the national football team.
Li Tie led the team to complete the sixth round of the preliminaries of the top 12 matches, the Chinese team only won 1 win, 2 draws and 3 losses, currently ranked second to last in the group.
Li Xiaopeng needs to lead his team to complete the remaining four rounds. The first game is against the Japanese team on the 27th of this month, followed by the Vietnam team on February 1st.
The Chinese Football Association stated in an announcement on the 7th that the Chinese National Men's Football Team will go to Shanghai to organize training and preparations from January 11 and participate in the 7th to 8th rounds of the top 12 matches.
In the training list, the Chinese Super League champion Shandong Taishan team has 10 players selected, including Jin Jingdao, Wang Dalei, Xu Xin, etc., and is the club with the most national contributions; Guangzhou team has 9 people including Zhang Linpeng and Wei Shihao selected, and Beijing Guoan also has Yu Dabao and Zhang Xi. 7 people including Zhe and Zhang Yuning were selected.
It is worth mentioning that the five naturalized players Exon, Luo Guofu, Fernando, Alan and Jiang Guangtai were all selected, of which Alan and Jiang Guangtai still belong to the Guangzhou Football Club.
The current national football training list also includes two players who have played for overseas clubs, namely Wu Lei of the Spanish club and Li Lei, who has just joined the Swiss Grasshoppers.
In addition, Liu Ruofan from Chengdu Rongcheng is the only Chinese player to be selected.
Including Liu Ruofan, a total of 13 players were selected for the national team training list for the first time.
